RSL Victoria offers its sincere condolences following the deaths of the three United States Marines after the crash of an Osprey aircraft at Melville Island.
RSL State President, Dr Robert Webster OAM said, “Tragic incidents like this are a sobering reminder of not just the efforts of our Defence Force, but the risks they all take every single day to keep us safe. We send our warmest thoughts and condolences to the families of those lost in this accident and pay tribute to the bravery and dedication of the crew.”
"We are mindful of the impact that tragedies like this can cause. We also keep in mind Defence Force members, past or present, who may be affected by this incident. We offer our full support and assistance to any who need it,” Dr Webster said.
